Happy Spring Time!
This term has certainly flown by and although we've had some colder weather this week, it has been wonderful to have the lighter mornings and evenings.
There has been lots of amazing learning going on across the whole school and it has been lovely to celebrate particular achievements with the children. We have been focusing on 'Aspiration' - one of our BEAR Behaviours and there are many examples where children have shown determination to aim higher in their achievements. We love hearing about successes within and outside of school so please let us know if your child has something to celebrate with us in school!
This term we invited our Governors into school for a 'Showcase' morning where they were able to see how well our children demonstrate ready, respectful, safe and excellent writing and phonics skills. We are very grateful to our Governing Body for their support.
A huge thank you to our wonderful PFA for arranging the Easter Egg 'hunt'. We are in an age where we really do need full support of our PFA so that we can enrich the wider school offer. Thank you to all of those that work on our PFA. We are now looking ahead to the PFA Summer Fair - please continue to support these great events!
To end our term, we have had a very busy week with the whole school visiting St Barnabas Church to take part in an 'Experience Easter' event. A huge thank you to those who helped at the event and to all our parent helpers who were able to assist with walking the children to the church. Our Willow Base children also presented an amazing performance of 'Mermaids vs Pirates' so wond-ARR-ful! Such a great opportunity for them to share super singing and confident communication.
I hope that you all have a great, safe Easter break and return re-charged for the excitement of the Summer term.
